Richard has been employed with VicRoads and previously the Road Traffic Authority (RTA) since 1984. The majority of this time has been spent in the area of heavy vehicle management, registration and licensing and customer service.
Richard has worked as an on road Transport Safety Officer (TSS) in the metropolitan and rural areas, TSS Team Leader, Regional Manager Customer Service and State coordinator for the VicRoads Transport Safety Services Group.
Richard has also worked on international heavy vehicle management projects in a number of countries including Vietnam, Laos and Dubai.
In his current position is as Manager TSS Statewide Operations, Richard manages the delivery of oversize and overmass permits across the Victoria, the delivery of National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and the VicRoads Statewide Chain of Responsibility (COR) and Tow truck Investigations group.
