PANEL SESSION/WORKSHOP: CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY
Chris Rowlands (Freightrain), Richard Bell (VicRoads), Paul Endycott (RTA NSW) & Elizabeth Guerra-Stolfa (Rigby Cooke)

Chain Of Responsibility
EVERYBODY involved in the supply chain / freight task can be held responsible for breaches of transport and safety laws. All companies, contractors and providers need to have formal policies and procedures in place.   This includes everyone in transport, warehouse and freight companies, plus anyone sending or receiving goods by road.
An expert panel from Freightrain, Vic Roads, RTA NSW & Rigby Cooke Lawyers will brief members on these important issues.

This productive session will enable members to challenge their Chain of Responsibility knowledge by applying the theories and concepts discussed in what could potentially be a real-life situation affecting your business.
You will be invited to examine the chain of events that took place in this actual prosecution, where several parties in the chain of responsibility were found to be responsible for breaches of the chain of responsibility regulations.
Speakers from various backgrounds and industries will play roles in this actual case and members will be encouraged to participate.
