Alert & Alive
Human safety is at the foreground of all supply chain activities and it is now in the critical interests of management at all levels to ensure they have a safer and more sustainable driving culture, while maximising the benefits of an alert driver. Much of the technology available in the area of fatigue detection was previously managed and processed by paper. In the creation of this technology we must adequately understand our industries technology tolerance, the commercial viability of such products as well as how business can quantify these changes to their risk profile. The focus is now on the next generation of fatigue management technology and what future measures of impairment in the workplace might look like. The research being carried out to determine the suitability of fitness for work is really interesting and has the potential to change how we view relative risk.
